How to Make a Living (and enjoy life) as a Freelance Worker
Are you considering taking the plunge and going freelance, but not sure how to start? Or how to be successful?
Are you a freelance writer, graphic designer, whatever who wants to get more work or more clients?
In this NC Online presentation, Erika Kosina will tell you how she became a successful freelance writer who has achieved work/life balance nirvana, while still being able to pay her rent. Erika has been making a living as a freelance writer since 2010. She specializes in technology, and has written hundreds of articles and blog posts about various aspects of the technology industry: corporate culture, technology trends, customer solutions, and best practices in selling technology. Her content appears on corporate websites and under bylines for senior executives who work for Cisco, Lenovo, and VMware, among others. Her superpower is translating buzzwords like “hypervisor” and “blockchain” into something a person would actually enjoy reading about.
Through her presentation “How to Make a Living (and enjoy life) as a Freelance Writer,” Erika will share best practices for finding clients, getting more work, managing your time, and getting paid as a freelance worker, all while enjoying life to the fullest.
